My 2.5-Hour Ordeal with GlassesUSA 😠: A Buyer's Warning
I'm writing this as a warning for anyone considering buying glasses online, so you don't have to go through what I did. My experience was infuriating. The Web site was so messed up it took me 2-1/2 hours to purchase two pairs of glasses. I was not able to type in my prescription and save it to continue my purchase. So I will have to be sent an email so I can type in the information that I already typed in on your silly web site. I am not sure I will ever attempt to order glasses from glasses USA ever again. The entire process was so very frustrating and certainly a waste of my time. After this ordeal, I was so fed up that I had to contact their customer service to see if anything could be done.
Customer: I just spent over two hours trying to order, and your website is a technical nightmare. It wouldn't save my prescription, and now it says I have to enter it again via email. What is going on?
CS Rep: I am so sorry for the frustration our website has caused you. That is definitely not the smooth experience we aim for. I can absolutely help you get this sorted out. Could you please provide me with your email address?
Customer: It's [email]. Honestly, this whole process has been a complete waste of my evening. I was very close to just canceling the whole thing.
