A Parent's Warning: A Warranty Nightmare That Feels Like a Scam 📉
I’m sharing my terrible online shopping experience as a warning to other parents. I thought I was doing the right thing by getting my child's glasses with an added warranty, but the whole process has been a nightmare. My final conclusion is that this place is the worst I've ordered glasses with added warranty and needed a replacement due to the frame breaking and each time I've needed a lens replacement they tell me my choice of frame is out of stock and will therefore he receiving a store credit plus a small % which doesn't make sense then how do I end up with a cheaper and lighter pair than the previous? I'm so tired of dealing with this crap from glassesusa plus a 30 deductible for the replacement. If you want quality eyeglasses for your child look elsewhere they seem like a good choice but are not . They haven't got 1 order right since purchasing with them but in order to not loose my money I have to choose until they get it right all while decreasing the value of my order I started at like 189 now it's somewhere around 130 a total joke and robbery you don't even realize due to the way they credit back and their fake discount codes. I felt I had no choice but to call customer service to understand why this was happening.
Customer: I'm calling about my warranty replacement. My son's frame broke again, and you're telling me it's out of stock. Why is my store credit now only $130 when I originally paid $189? This feels like a robbery.

Customer: Frustration is an understatement. I paid for a warranty and a deductible. I expect a replacement of equal value, not a cheaper frame and a shrinking balance every time something goes wrong.

Customer: Fine. That's what should have been offered in the first place.
