Trapped in a Customer Service Nightmare: A Warning to Others 😡
I'm writing this as a warning to others. My online shopping experience was beyond frustrating, and I feel compelled to share it. I ordered a set of prescription glasses and was advised the order would ship in 3 business days. 8 business days later they still haven’t shipped and it’s impossible to reach a live person. Their virtual chat gives the option after you track your order enough times to speak to a live chat representative but then circles you back to virtual chat. They also say on their site that you can reach someone by phone 7am-midnight however unless you’re placing an order, you will not get to speak to someone. I’ve never experienced customer service like this. To be completely inaccessible as it relates to a prescription is absurd. I would advise not doing business with this company. After days of trying, I finally got through, which led to this conversation.
Customer: Hello? Is this a real person? My order was supposed to ship 8 business days ago, and your chat system is a useless loop.
CS Rep: Hello, I'm very sorry to hear about the delay and the trouble you've had reaching us. I can definitely help you. Could you please provide your order number?
Customer: It's [Order Number]. I was promised 3-day shipping. Being this inaccessible for a prescription item is just absurd.
CS Rep: I see your order now, and I sincerely apologize. There was an unexpected lab delay. I can have it expedited immediately and refund your shipping costs for the inconvenience.
Customer: Fine. Refund the shipping. I just want the glasses I paid for. This has been a terrible experience.
CS Rep: I understand completely. I've processed the shipping refund now, and I will personally ensure your order is prioritized to ship within 24 hours.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
